Oh...I forgot to explain that the towel using time only lasts for about three weeks...or until the pups are at the "real poops" stage. That usually coincides with the whelping box time. At that time, I have purchased shredded blank news print by the bale which I spread around in the box. You can use printed news print also, but the white on the pups will look a bit gray.
