_Maureen: Unfortunately, there is no one best dog food. But, guaranteed, a kibble will never be it. Kibble has more preservative and more filler than canned and certainly BARF.
If you want to really educate yourself about feeding well, get subscription to the Whole Gog Journal. They have a TOP TEN list of canned and kibble, and explain what is good and bad in each type.
