I have just recently joined the CKCS list. Can't wait to begin
communicating with all of you out there who love CKCS like I do. We have
two Cavaliers - a 14 1/2 year old tricolor and a 2 year old blenheim. Our
tricolor had a liter (2 blenheims) when we lived in the UK. Her breeder
(upon contract agreement) chose one of her males and mated them prior to us
leaving the country and returning to the USA. Chloe came to us from Canada
about 1 1/2 years ago. I want to breed her this coming fall. This time I
do not have the help of an experienced breeder, so I'm trying to start early
and cover all my basis. I know there are several health certifications to
be done (eyes, heart, patellas, hips). Her registration is complete with
the AKC and CKCSC. Please share your experiences and any advice that may
help. Also, what is the best way to get her pedigree on the computer? Do
you suggest purchasing a specific type of software or is there a website
that helps with this.
