I knew that there were some breeds that required dewclaws, but was too lazy
to look it up, LOL.

Yes, Peggy, I agree about dewclaws. I leave them as I don't like mutilating
for looks, i.e. tail docking and cropping ears, etc. In 21 years, we have
only had one dog that had to have his dewclaws removed as an adult. He kept
rubbing his eyes and scratching the corneas with  his dewclaws so we had
them removed during a teethcleaning.
