No kidding.  They had to do this in the pack or the pack would turn on them.
There is no way on earth I would think my 5 senses are near as good as those
of my dogs.  If they can hide it from other dogs, I know they can hide it
from me better.

I can remember, not all that long ago, when they said very young human
babies didn't feel much pain!  When they started monitoring blood pressure,
heart rate, etc. they found out they were wrong.  I would bet that dogs feel
much more pain than is generally thought too.
