hi donna, many years ago i had a bitch that needed a c section for her first litter. i was terrified to breed her again, but did after about 2 years. the end result was that she had more puppies in all the subsequent litters and never needed a c section again. the theory is that after every season whether they are bred or not, the walls of the uterus thicken, thus possible smaller litter size. i have never found this to be true. so IMO if you want to do a back to back breeding, go right ahead.
