Hi Adrian, Yes it was me - that photo was taken way back in 1984 at Sydney Royal Easter show when my ex husband's Aust Ch Barganzar Scarteen won Best in Group -the first Cavalier to win the Group at Sydney Royal. The photo was taken after the judging and I had an argument with the official photographer about kneeling down! He insisted for the photo and almost had a tizzy fit about it! LOL. Needless to say I did NOT handle the dog kneeling! In fact when we came into the ring for Open Dog in the class and lined up, I was almost the only handler who didn't kneel and stack - something that used to happen here a bit. The judge was Robyn Hernandez from Mexico and I think that one of the things that caught his eye about the dog was that apart from putting him on the table, I never touched him on the ground - he was a fantastic showdog, moved like a train and stood himself up four square every time with me about 6 feet back. - did it all himself with wonderful ring presence.
