I only stack my Cavaliers when they are placed on table. When they are off the table, my Cavaliers are usually self stack. Sometimes I use my foot to adjust the stacking of the dog (hind legs) while baiting in front of him. However, if you over six feet, I think it is perfectly okay to get down on your knees when you are presenting your dog to the judge. Any views from the floor ?
Adrian Teoh Lacavara Cavaliers -----Original Message----- From: Glenn Fulton [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, February 05, 2002 2:33 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [CKCS-L] show presentation I have my 8 month old Dixie in conformation classes. Many of the instructors are not real sure of ring procedure with Cavaliers. Do you Stack Cavaliers or should they self stack? Do you get down on your knees with them when being observed by the judge or should this be avoided? What other ring procedures are not done with cavaliers that may be done with other breeds and vice versa? I don't want to be taught to do one thing and then find that with Cavaliers that isn't done.
