Well Shiena, it is good to hear what is done in CO!
I have never seen anyone - professional handler or breeder or rank
novice - kneel in the ring with their Cavalier - in Virginia, Georgia,
or points in between -
A friend did report that she watched the judging of the Cavaliers (while
I was 'considering' getting one) and there was a 'name professional
handler' whose dog looked VERY groomed, who knelt down to stack the dog
- and who was not even placed in the class! Apparently here in the East
the judges are 'marking down' when the dog is over-groomed -- just an
observation - from 'outsiders' trying to learn -
