Going back to the puppy mill - or staying with someone who treats loving little dogs the way most people would treat a pair of pants that don't fit right.. both options make me sad. Obviously the puppy mill is the worst-case scenario.. but I am constantly shocked at how crappy some people can be. I have had friends who try and find homes for older dogs because they move to a place that doesn't allow pets. I have barely been able to look them in the eye afterwards. I just pray that something will happen to change puppymilling soon. I would say the same for people who don't take dogs feelings into consideration - but I'm not going to hold my breath. One of my best friends and I darn near come to blows on this topic.
