Bruce, first off, I am sorry that I didn't welcome you to the list. I know
how it feels to be new to cavaliers and not feel welcomed. I have been
there. I can understand that you would be puzzled at the way all of us have
banded together today against this woman and her web site. Give yourself a
few more years in the breed, and you'll be standing there shoulder to
shoulder with the rest of us. I promise. It is unethical in the extreme
to have pictures of dogs that neither belong to this woman nor were bred by
this woman on her web site. First off, those pictures may well be
copyrighted and she doesn't have the permission needed to exhibit them.
Secondly, it gives the impression to potential puppy buyers that these dogs
represent her breeding stock, or even ARE her breeding stock. Who wouldn't
want a dog as lovely as those on her site? However, they aren't hers, and
they don't represent hers. Second of all, it appears that she is "rescuing"
dogs from puppy millers and then putting them to work for her. Lastly,
remember that your web site can say anything you want it to say. Saying
that there is a lengthy interview process, doesn't necessary mean anything.
Stealing pictures from another breeder and infering that they are your dogs
means everything. Myra Savant
