Cathy, a lot of time these things are just innocent ignorance. By that I mean, not knowing the ropes. At least, that is the way it appeared to me, especially since she immediately took down your photos. She may have gotten them from a clipart website. Not many people know that some of the free ftp spaces claim rights to your art work and photos in their small print of agreement to use the freebie site. Geocities does. Anything that you put up, they own. They can sell it if they want. Read the small print of the freebie rules for their webspace. All the best, Susan Cochran
