Leanne, "he's" a SHE...:-) And by the way, I chose her sire as much for
what he DIDN'T have in his pedigree as well as what IS there. Funny enough
my choice for using Rutherford Nicholas had nothing to do with longevity
because all 5 generations and MORE were very much alive at that time.

Effie's sire and dam are on the CavaliersOnline pedigree site, but some of
the notables behind them are Kindrum Alice at Rutherford (15), Salador Coral
Berry (14) Ch.Salador Crismark (13+..I think...), Kindrum Mathilda at Biscay
(16 AND heart murmur free) Homerbrent Miranda of Merrylaine (15+), and her
daughter, Merrylaine Molley Coddle (14...I think) Some of the dogs met
untimely deaths, such as Biscay Ain't Misbehavin', who, according to his
breeder/owner Karen Zocovitch, would not leave the poisonous Florida toads
alone and eventually they did him in at age 9. Effie's mom is alive and
well at almost 11, but that's just average.

My ruby girl will be mated to a lovely young Blenheim son by Ch. Elvenhome
Creme de Menthe and Bembridge Resemble (age 13 this June, and
counting...heart clear still according to his owner, Stephanie Abraham).
Bembridge Resemble is by CH. Craigowl Replica, who as many know, goes back
thru long-lived Craigowls to Ch.Homaranne Caption (15+).
