I have some news, regarding these "AKC TITLES" On March 10, my ruby bitch, Ch. Tansy Hill Natalie Dressed, completed her conformation Championship! She's a "pick puppy" from her mom, who is also a "pick puppy". Mom is my Black&Tan, Ch. Gateslea Special Effex, who herself is sired by one of the most under-rated dogs ever bred in USA, Rutherford Nicholas. Nicholas had a "horrendous coat" and he was "a little large" for some people's tastes at the time, so he was written off as a stud dog. I'll always remember his owner expressing "shock" that I wanted to use him at stud "because nobody likes him". HA! His pedigree, with few exceptions, is pretty wonderful in that it's full of the strong breed type AND a majority of sound/long-lived dogs for several generations that produced him, and I saw them ALL and videotaped or photographed most...5 generations of them!
