I  think in part you have answered your own question Sylvia - I was told
many years ago that a short backed dog with a good turn of stifle and maybe
a touch to much second thigh and a bit long from hock to heel would be cow
hocked because there is not enough room under the dog to accommodate the
angulation. Don't know if I am writing that correctly - I know what I mean
difficult to write!! VBG
