I have wondered about this too. Maybe they are so low to the ground that they
must look up so high to see persons face that they have to squat some. It
looks to be in the stifle area not the hock or foot where they cow hock. High
in the leg hip structure area maybe loose ligaments. You know how when you
pick them up they feel like holding something with total looseness in your
arms Almost slippery like a heavy fur coat.  Chere Workman
