Got a call from a pet sitting customer tonite to tell me that their cavalier
boy just died this evening. He was 9 years old.....did not have heart
disease that they were aware of. He was fine at dinner time......started
eating and then vomited........lost control of his back legs and collapsed
on the floor, became limp and took his last breath about 15 minutes later on
the way to the vet. His owners are upset and in shock and called to ask me
what I thought happened to him since I have his 11 yr. old mother here.
They cannot go through having an autopsy done. the only medication he was
on was Rimadyl for arthritis.

Could this have been a stroke?
thanks,
pam
