Hi! Did anyone else notice the report in Dog Fancy, May 2002, regarding a Scandinavian study which was published in the Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine? It reports that a study of an enalapril, an enzyme-inhibiting drug, does nothing to delay the onset of cardiac failure in dogs with murmurs due to MVD. I've not yet had to deal with MVD and therefore I am not familiar with the drugs used to treat it. Is enalapril something that is prescribed here in the US? Have these results been out for a while and I am just late in reading about them? Thanks, Christine Solomon Long Grove, IL http://members.aol.com/tocavs2/
