Hello Cheryl,
I think humping often has more to do with dominance than sex.
Many girls are more guilty than the boys.
It's easy to correct..just give them a gentle push and say NO!  If the dog
insists a shake along with the NO!! usually works.
As with all dog training consistency is the key.
