However even if the bitch you bred to your stud dog is register able and if the
person is not a member and does not register the puppies then you are still in
violation because under stud dog rules it states and I am not looking it up to
get it word for word. I will only allow my stud dog to be bred to bitches whose
owners agree to abide by the code of ethics of the CKCSC. So if you do bred to
akc only bitches you are actually in violation of three of the codes of ethics.
And even though we have board members breeding to AKC only dogs the board is
doing nothing about that. I have been trying to get the board to do away with
these rules for years as the rule only applied when there was no other
registering body in the US that was recognized. When I was on the board I made a
motion to recognize AKC as a registration body and that was approved. This is
the loop hole the board can use if they choose to do so. I have no idea what
happened at the meeting in Cincinnati. Has anyone heard yet?
