        Since there IS a *1-year* vaccine for rabies, can you demand of your vet
that s/he use that one instead?  I know there are states that require an
*annual* rabies shot, but I'd find it pretty hard to believe those same
states also insist that the *3-year* being given annually!  (Maybe your vet
doesn't really understand this?  Have you been able to find out whether
other vets where you are all say the same thing?!)  Good luck,
