What I don't understand is:

I have a Swedish import that I AKC registered....she is eligible for CKCSC
registration and could be bred (if registered) to any willing stud dog owner, old club
or no.

But why I can't I submit my AKC pedigree and have my dog CKCSC registered if I wanted
to? They are purebred Cavaliers, and would have a documented 5 generation pedigree to
prove that fact, as much as an import would.

It seems to me that the coffers of the Old Club would grow by leaps and bounds and you
would interest more AKC exhibitors (and those numbers are vast) to exhibit in CKCSC
specialties, much as we would travel and compete in regional and national specialties
with our other breeds.
