Good point, Jackie. I always found it interesting regarding the suspension of the original 12 board members, and oh, yes, Lamont Yoder is #13. I was actually thrilled when I got my letter! I was thrilled to respond "no" to the pompous and specious accusations. And, no, I was not suspended, expelled or fined. I didn't quit. At about that time, March 1995, the AKC Parent club membership list was also public knowledge. I guess that's one reason the letters of accusation stopped being sent and only 13 were chosen for penalties. Otherwise, CKCSCUSA would have had to suspend about 150 additional members. But it's really a money issue, once again. These founding members were not expelled, they were "suspended". All they have to do is pay their fines, request re-instatement. They violated no club ethics and no club rules. They do not do anything differently in their breeding practices than they ever did. They are visible, well-known breeder/exhibitors at Specialty and All-breed shows. They were visible, well-known breeder exhibitors at the CKCSCUSA shows. Many held various offices in regional CKCSCUSA clubs. They were good enough BEFORE AKC, but AFTER AKC they're dirty rotten scoundrels? The CKCSCUSA threw the breed at AKC when it handled the issue of "AKC Recognition" the way it did. All I see now is lot who say "don't blame me, I wasn't a member when "the troubles" happened, but it would have made no difference in the outcome of events.
