The ISSUES list could be the venue of all subjects related to shows, rules, clubs, and other people-related issues. Here the opinions and personalities could take the stage and not overwhelm the needs of the dogs themselves.>> I second Jim Dantin's sentiments about this list becoming too much about politics and not enough about the dogs, although the political discussions often include reference to doing things in the "best interest of the breed" I've been getting up to 200 e-mail messages per day lately, most of it from this list. The last time the AKC/CKCSC registration issue came up the number of messages skyrocketed and rather than attempting to wade through all of that yada yada, I had to delete "all" list messages for lack of time. I agree with Jim's suggestion that we should have some way to identify the "people" vs. "dog" issues. I know we have threads that should tell us what the discussion is about but we do tend to get off topic so that's not always helpful. Thank you, Kim, for your fine work administering this list.
