Hey, how about St. Louis. It's central, cheap to fly or drive to. It has the AKC Dog Museum there as well as terrific dog show grounds at the Purina site. We held a Norfolk/Norwich specialty there two years ago and everyone had a grand time. Weather was great except for a small (but unusual flood). The hotels around were quite nice, great grass for the dogs and the grounds at the hotel we used for the specialty the day before the shows at the Purina center were lush and rolling and gorgeous. I have a feeling that area may be a little less expensive than a northern or southern big city. We had our club meeting at the old charming hotel and our dinner at the Dog Museum. The site was a few miles outside St. Louis. I can get more details if you are interested. Liz Gordon Merrychase
