Yes, it is interesting.  It seems to me that there are two different schools
of thought.  Some stud dog owners do not want show pups of their boys out
there...either for fear of competition or maybe for fear of losing future
stud fees that could be coming for their boys or maybe for some other
reason.  Other stud dog owners would like to see the offspring of their stud
dogs shown and exhibited to enhance the reputation of their boys.  Our
personal stance is that if our boy is producing nice puppies, we would like
to have them seen in the show ring, but I know that our position isn't
everybody's cup of tea.  I guess this is just another example of why
breeding these dogs is so interesting.  Lots of learning to do, lots to
learn about human nature, the priorities of other breeders...just a whole
bunch of interesting things.  Myra
