I just can't believe, knowing Betty Deemer the way that I do, that she
would be promoting the DDAL.  There has to be another side to this

Kim, you are always the voice of reason and again I agree with you on
this point.  The only issue that remains with me is, as we say in
Oklahoma, hasn't the barn door already been opened?  In other words,
what will we do to curtail the damage caused by those who will blindly
sign the petition that was inserted into the Bulletin and send it off
just because they think that's what they should do since it was included
in the Bulletin?  Do we think we have enough independent minded
membership that this won't happen, or not?  It's just a question.
