Two clarifications: 1. DDAL appears in the current Bulletin in 2 ways. (a) Printed in the text: p. 2 (Table of Contents, listed under Enclosures); and pp. 16-17 (what I referred to as DDAL's press release, ending with "Your Ethics Committee"). (b) Two inserts (one was a sample petition-form, the other a request for donations).
2. I do not believe ANY of the posts so far (including mine) should be construed as "club-bashing." If my posts contributed to that (mis)interpretation, I apologize for not wording them clearly enough to prevent such misunderstanding. My objection is to the appearance of both (a) and (b) above - whether this was due to an active decision or to negligence. I appreciate Susan Shidler's efforts (with Betty Deemer and others) to get to the bottom of this, and will now wait *quietly* :) for the results of their investigation. (I hope an update will be posted to this list, for those of us who can't get to the meeting this weekend.) Since "truth is stranger than fiction" I am open to hearing whatever they uncover!
