The main thing to remember here is that CKCSC USA is a breed club, made up of breeders and pet owners. Most of us who breed do it on a relatively small scale in our homes, or our dog rooms. We separate out our boys and girls into crates or fenced areas. I doubt that many of us could meet the USDA Requirements for housing. The club should be wanting to 'protect' our interests in this matter; not throw us under the Doris Bus and subject us to the rules of the USDA. I find it interesting that as mentioned earlier, it was written already in the August issue of the Bulletin at a BOD meeting. Clearly this is not brand new 'news' to the board. Myra
