I've never had anyone ask me for clear heart certificates on the grandparents--not once in 26 years. I automatically give them the heart clearances of the parents and if I have them on the grandparents, I automatically give them too--why not! I have a brother and sister (both turned 4 in March and were again cardiologist cleared in April) whose mother just cleared her heart again at the same clinic in April--she will be 10 years old this Friday. Their dad was color dopplered clear at 6.5 years of age and auscultated clear until 9.5. Why on earth wouldn't I tell my puppy buyers and give them the clear certificates??!! It seems to me it would be ridiculous to NOT do it!
