I hadn't thought about the sodium content so pulled out a couple of
cans and here's results for the brand I have here:

5.5 oz can of sardines in tomato sauce = 1368 mg sodium

15 oz can of jack mackeral = 1680 mg sodium

And for comparison, the 9 oz. can of tuna (solid white albacore)
packed in water has a 1,000 mg. of sodium. I don't have any
salmon on hand.

When I feed these foods I use 2 cans of sardines or one can of jack
mackeral and divide it 4 ways. I usually only feed it once a week.

Take care, Jackie
