Jean, I was about to write you asking if you received my check to help with
Rescue, and I see it cleared this afternoon! Thanks for keeping all of us
updated; I know it's one more thing on your over-full plate, but want you to
know it is appreciated. (I wonder who ate more Krispy Kremes - staff or
dogs, LOL!)

We visited the shelter today, took them four dozen Krispy Kream =
Doughnuts. There is no new news. There has been no update on the =
investigation. The dogs are still evidence and the public can not even =
see them. They did tell me the dogs seem happy and playful. They =
mentioned a few of the older dogs were keeping to themselves more and =
not playing. There was no change in their status medically. They have =
enough towels and will let us know when they need more. =20
I will keep you all updated. The hard part is being patient but that is =
all we can do.=20
