In recent posts two questions were raised: a) how to avoid the 'brown' staining our girls leave on the lawns b) is tomatoe juice good for dogs (I believe this was related to eating sardines)
Just recently at our house we have had a bad batch of 'brown' stains on our lawns which 'himself' was getting a little concerned about. A lawn expert advised adding 3ml of tomatoe juice a day to our dogs dinner - increasing to 5ml (one teaspoon). This might take a fortnight or so, (two weeks) before we would notice the difference. Well I'm into my first week and I have to say the dogs are not bothered by the tomatoe juice and are eating pretty well. So I will keep you posted on a) and the dogs have given the tail wag to b). I wondered if those feeding the sardines in tomatoe juice have noticed an improvement in their lawns? i.e. less brown staining?
