Diane, First of all, Congratulations!!
The program you're starting sounds exciting and I just know it will be
worthwhile and rewarding for all. Question: I'm probably having a
brainfreeze -- TDI stands for (therapy dog i---?). I'm a longtime member of
Delta Society; if Abbey Rose's certification is with another organization (I
know Delta Society isn't the only one), is there any information you'd care
to share, or a website addy? I'd love to know what others are doing in this
wonderful field. Thanks!

Evaluation. That brings my TDI dogs to three. I am starting a program with
my neighbor who is a Special Ed teacher called CARE. Canine Assisted
Resources in Education. What we will be doing is working with the Special
Needs kids and their IEP's (Individual Education Plans) in conjunction with
their
teachers and therapists. This is all very exciting because it is in a
public school setting. I don't know if it's being done anywhere else in the
state. I will keep you posted, and if you've made it this far, thanks for
