I really don't know much about Nature Stone as I've never truly explored it, but I do know people who have it and love it. The only thing they have said is it doesn't seem to be that porous--if water gets on it, it sits there until it is wiped off. I don't know how long it would take to drain through as the epoxy binder is a plastic of sorts.
At our annual Home and Garden show there are always lots of walkways around the houses (we usually have 2-6 houses for people to tour at this show) with NatureStone on them. The look is okay and it holds up very well under the intense traffic. I think the price is cheaper than most things and figured it is probably a durable, inexpensive finish to a patio room, basement, garage. I wouldn't use it in a house, it is not that attractive. I think the cost is something like $2 per square foot though (not sure about that but it is cheap)--quite an inexpensive alternative and probably the reason many people use it. I momentarily considered it for my dog room which is off my kitchen and was part of the garage at one time. I was fortunate that the entire garage floor is sloped towards a center drain so drainage wouldn't have been a problem. I ended up staining and sealing the floor instead as it only cost me $40 vs. $400. That didn't work at all. With a year the seal and stain were wearing off. Since I'm building a new house, it doesn't matter any more. If it is that porous, I don't think I would use it unless the floor was already sloped for drainage.
