This thread has had amazing feedback, so throwing in my thoughts. In the very few times I have co-owned with anyone, I have usually gifted the dog/bitch and the co-owner has an agreement, a proviso such as when the dog titles or I use the dog for stud (once) or in the case of a bitch, when I have my litter (one) the dog /bitch is signed over to the person who co-owns it. They are free to de-sex, breed, or whatever. I do not believe in lengthy co-ownerships and believe there should be a finalty to the agreement on a previously agreed time-frame. In every case it has worked for mutual benefit. JMO
