What a very generous thing to do.  You have very lucky puppies I am sure.
However, not everyone could do this hobby if they were unable to recoup at
least a small amount of their expenses.  I don't think many hobby dog people
come out ahead. By the time you count food, vets, entry fees, motels etc most
people are lucky to stay afloat.  I think most people just want to be able to
afford to continue doing what they do without filing bankruptcy.
