Barb and all, As many of you know, I feed Primal......the prepared raw food from San Francisco that has almost every additive I used prior to feeding this prepared diet......ie. we used to grind our own chicken with bones and add most of what Susan just mentioned in a prior post. They also have a beef diet. We feed more chicken than beef....and, occasionally they get some ground lamb. The only grains they see are the occasional Wysong biscuits. And, about five days a week they will get a chicken wing. I now have nine dogs and figure I feed a three-pound tub of the Primal per day.....at $2.50 per pound, that is $7.50 per day for the Primal plus cost of wings. And, along with Myra......I don't smoke or play golf either. But, I don't plan on giving up my 5 o'clock glass of wine! Judi Geldermann
