Hi Myra, I agree with you . A person with experience with making these decisions is probably a bit futher down the road... I do not believe in prolonging life, just to make me feel better..If the animal in question has no chance at QUALITY of life and is instore for a life of pain and problems, then I believe that we as their caretakers have to make intelligent and informed decisions. No matter how pain full and heartbreaking it is for us personally. A very sad but necessary lesson to learn if one is to commit to the choice of "breeding" or even " owning" our beloved dogs.
