Pam,
  I have a friend in the UK that has a little ruby girl that has
cavalier collapse.  I was told that the symptoms resemble a "scotty
cramp" and it is being looked into by her cavalier club.
  If you go to a search engine on the net and put in "cavalier
collapse" you can get some information about the myopathy if anyone is
interested.
