A friend of mine has a similar experience at a show last year. The dog was heading to ringside and suddenly became disoriented, sort of dazed look with wobbly legs. he came out of it quickly and was even able to trot around the ring. He was whistled off to the vet directly afterwards and it has turned out it was an epileptic seizure. He has had several much larger seizures since, has been neutered and is doing quite nicely on medication.
