Hi Carolyn, If she is only off for a day or so but still is drinking water, I wouldn't worry too much. Just try and get her to eat small meals (very small) several times a day. This should keep her bloodsugar stable and supply some nutrition to her and pups. She may be carrying a large litter or a few big babies and is feeling pretty stuffed. If she will eat the small meals, and drink her water, hopefully it will carry her through. You might could trick her by feeding her from the table. Fix her a plate, like cheese, boiled egg, boiled chicken,maybe some baked potato w/ alittle butter and some apple pieces. She will think you are feeding her from your plate and feel like she is getting away with something! Sounds funny but it might work. If she isn't drinking enough water, try some of the flavored Pedalite, mixed with some of her water. I wonder if you can get natural bullion cubes or canned broth that doesn't contain salt.
