I can't remember if I introduced myself properly. My tendencies are to just JUMP in MOUTH first and then to worry about introductions later. LOL So.....I was a Navy Wife for 25 yrs...raised one daughter and multiple family pets, lived all over the world (including Australia and Japan) got divorced when my ex husband decided that since he had to retire from the navy and get a new job he might as well get rid of the old wife too. I moved myself from Florida to Washington for a fresh start, put an ad on Love@aol with a picture and met my darling George. We consider ourselves spousial units (I am not fond of significant other), married in our hearts but not in the eyes of the government. It is because of him that we have Cavaliers. He wanted a spaniel to add to our little family. We had just lost his daughter in an airline accident and I thought that getting him a new little puppy would give him other things to think about. Little did I know that we would end up with THREE Cavaliers. We have since joined our local Cavalier club, provided a home for two rescued geriatric Cavaliers (Fred and Ethel) and are really loving all this. I like to read, cook, quilt, travel, play with dogs. I have done almost everything under the sun for employement....except for standing on street corners.LOL Travel Agent to Long Distance telephone operator to running a base Library. Now I am chief yard de-pooper and dog washer! I am taking a drawing class right now in the hopes of learning to draw all of my babies. We are also taking Adobe Photo Shop classes so we can learn to really manipulate the pictures we take of our crew. So, I guess that is ME in a NUT shell. Ok...so the NUT shell is REAL...and most that know me will tell you that I am a REAL nut!!!
