Hi List,
Although some of you know a bit about me I decided to "introduce" myself.
I live in St Cloud, Fla (out side Orlando. It is a small town and I live on 5
acres outside of town with my children and furrie family. I have a 22 yr old
daughter, college student and single mom, and 11 yr old twin sons(not
identical.) My daughter,Nicki is a great mom and has the most adorable
daughter one could imagine. I think she will follow right in her"Mammie"s"
footsteps with the dogs.She is the best young child I have ever seen around
dogs (except maybe me at that age,HAHA) I have always had dogs and at times
other pets as well. Mostly every kind (except snakes and reptiles in
general) I bred my 1st litter of AKC reg Rough Collies when I was 18 and
showed in the bred by class. I also showed other breeds , for friends, just
for the experience. My 1st demonstration speech in college was "How to Train
Your Dog "
I took Missy, my collie and we were written up in our local paper. Boy, that
was fun.
In the many insueing years I have done alot of traveling, going to college,
and enjoying life. After having children my traveling slowed down and I
started getting back into my dogs with training, showing and limited
breeding, I have had other breeds over the years, but I think Cavaliers are
my very most favorite and the ones who will be with me to the end. I have
spoken to some of you out there and listened to a whole lot of what is said
on the list, I really appreciate this list, it is teaching me alot about the
dogs, diff blood line and the people I hope to work with, as I try and make
the right decisions reguarding my dogs and future breedings.
