You bet Alice! With me it was golf, golf and more golf. I was sick of it and then, there was no golf and we got more dogs! More to love and cherish and I can honestly say that if I was with the "other" one, there would have been only 2 dogs..his poodle and whatever I had.
I have thanked G-d for each moment from the time that Ann Robbins let us have our first Cavalier Chelsea. We were her dog sitters and it's a long story. It was the funniest sight to see Victor at 6'2" 250+ (pre by-pass) walking this tiny 5 LB puppy. We had 8 incredible years with her. Never being enough, we got our second from Ann, our Jelly Bean. From there it was "a fait accompli". Our destiny to live our lives this way. I could never do the marriage thing again with anyone else. It takes a special person to put up with us "Dog Ladies"! I guess that makes us very lucky.
