Yes, you're right, and I'd do the same thing.  Only one time did I let a dog
go home with a family to "try" and there was no way that Cavalier was coming
back.  Oh, they gave me the payment first, and then took the dog.  I have to
admit I was a little shocked at their assumption at first, but they adored
the dog, and I knew he'd adore them back!  After all, he was the "king" at
their house, and only a 'subject' here!  LOL!

As to trying out the washing machine from Sears and then deciding to pay,
when I worked at Home Depot, some people would buy lawnmowers and brush
trimmers at the beginning of the summer, charge them on their credit card,
and return them (slightly 'used') after the summer season was over.  Happens
all the time.  Retailers can't screen buyers like we can.
