I do not think anyone has to wait for a year or two. Cavaliers are being imported into the US at the speed of lightening. There are so many people breeding them and importers importing them people are finding puppies faster then I can get photos sent out. I have puppies now and know of others who have puppies also. Everyone seems to want tricolor females. I have recently had two people who had a fit when I said send a cashiers check and I would ship the puppy they actually wanted me to send the puppy so they could see if they liked it then they would send the money for puppy and shipping.
