Not in the least, even the youngest have been able to get it off. The end is completely open just folded over. This is a favorite here at our house and even the cat gets in on the action. Someday I am going to have to video tape it. It is way to funny to watch. A squeaky toy in the bag also works but then you know these cavaliers will do anything for cat treats.:)
