Actually, Rosanne, I have heard of folks saving large cans - like large peach or kidney bean cans - washing them - putting the legs of the furniture in these cans - protects from assorted undesired nibbling (including rodents -in cabins that aren't used regularly) I would think this would keep puppy teeth away from the legs of chairs or tables ... not so sure how to stop the chewing of the dowels / cross pieces of the chairs, though ... LOTS of stuff in my house shows the signs of puppies being here <grin> Joan
