I have three puppies just four months old, as well as one who is eight months old. The chewing has stopped because I give them both meat basted rawhide strips, and, best of all, soup bones. Wal-Mart has carried soup bones for the last couple of months, as they have gone to prepackaged meat here. I cut them in half, if need be, cut most of the extraneous fat off and let them have them. I found a little one in my hosta bed yesterday with a HUGE bone, covered with dirt, happily chewing away. Somehow it ended up on my white duvet cover later, but that is a different story. As an addendum, most of you know that one of the three has hydrodephalus. She is 4.3 pounds, smart as a whip, courageous (swimming incident I don't care to discuss) and is totally asymptomatic. Did someone mention miniature cavaliers??
